L.P.P. holding: the Czech connection to Elbit Systems
While international level scandals connected to Elbit have already been exposed from various angless, including in our own two-part article series, we have decided to dedicate our own efforts into uncovering the company's actions in the Czech republic and vice versa the Czech actions putting our state of residency into direct complicity. As taxpayers, our initiative was further motivated because the ties of the Czech Republic to Elbit Systems have a direct impact on us through our environment or international standing of our state.
About L.P.P. holding
L.P.P. holding a.s. (further also as L.P.P.) is a Czech high-tech company that develops advanced AI-powered defence systems, unmanned aircraft and other military equipment. [1] The company was founded in 1993 as Letecke pristroje Praha. [2] It is based at Pod Hájkem 406/1a in Prague 8, but also operates other facilities in the Czech republic. [3] One of the facilities is T-CZ's building which is located in the regional city Pardubice.
About Elbit Systems
Elbit Systems is a private Israeli arms company that operates all around the world through partnerships with local tech companies. [4] One such partnership is the one between Elbit Systems and an Irish-American company called Analogue Devices International which supplies Elbit with microchips. Their microchips were also found in Russian weapons that were used in its agression over Ukraine. [5]
Chronology of L.P.P.-Elbit cooperation
In 2023, it was announced that L.P.P. and Elbit would begin developing and producing drones, as well as training personnel, in the Czech Republic. [6] It was later confirmed that a new center would be built in Pardubice. [7]
In June 2025, a delegation of Czech engineers traveled to Israel to see Elbit Systems main factory. The delegation's goal was to deepen and strengthen cooperation between Czech and Israeli defense industries. The group of Czech engineers was shown the process of production in Elbit Systems' factories [8]
It seems fair to assume that the knowledge they gained will be used in Elbit's production and development center in Pardubice. It was also announced that machinery made by a Czech company Fermat would be used in the facility. [8]
Outcomes for Czech citizens
Through the already established cooperation between L.P.P. holding and Elbit Systems, the Czech Republic is allowing an international weapons systems producer, infamous for its connection to worldwide human rights violations to use its human potential and material resources.
It is deeply concerning that the international criticism Elbit is facing is being bypassed here in Czechia with L.P.P. about to become a complicit stand-in, enabling the supply of military technology and personnel trainings for what may – taking into consideration Elbit's already existing reputation and history – constitute violations of international law or even crimes against humanity.
